The Third World War is imminent. Threats of atomic bombardements between North Korea and the United States return the world population in a feeling of cold war. In Bay-Saint-Paul town, Pier-Luc is afraid of something. He’s afraid of dying before having sex for the first time in his life. Before We Explode (Avant qu’on explose) is a Canadian sex comedy film, directed by Rémi St-Michel and released in 2019. The film premiered in February 2019 at the Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma. It received two Prix Iris nominations at the 21st Quebec Cinema Awards, for Best Screenplay (Éric K. Boulianne) and Best Original Music (Peter Venne).
