The Third World War is imminent. Threats of atomic bombardements between North Korea and the United States return the world population in a feeling of cold war. In Bay-Saint-Paul town, Pier-Luc is afraid of something. He’s afraid of dying before having sex for the first time in his life. With his friends Hubert and Samuel, he will do what is needed to lose his virginity.

Before We Explode (Avant qu’on explose) is a Canadian sex comedy film, directed by Rémi St-Michel and released in 2019. The film premiered in February 2019 at the Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma. It received two Prix Iris nominations at the 21st Quebec Cinema Awards, for Best Screenplay (Éric K. Boulianne) and Best Original Music (Peter Venne).
