Don’t Miss VFXRio Live 2020 (26th to 27th June 2020)
The sixth edition of VFXRio will be held online and free on June 26th and 27th at www.vfxrio.com.br The 2-day program includes lectures and meetings with supervisors, directors, artists and designers who participate in the creation of visual effects, cutting edge technology and immersive media.
VFXRio is an international festival affiliated with ACM Siggraph and sponsored by Intel and Globo. Our goal is to develop the ecosystem of visual technologies, helping companies, governments and society to achieve sustainable social, technological and economic development. We are committed to bringing international know-how to the Brazilian market and visibility for Brazilian productions. In its 5 editions, VFXRio contributed to the creation of business networks, collaboration between educational institutions, producers and companies, in addition to new opportunities and support for young people and their productions. Our audience is made up of professionals, artists, designers, technologists, academics, producers, programmers, journalists and students.
VFXRio Live: Uno de Oliveira presents VFX on post pandemic recording resumption.
VFXLive: New Normal Panel will reflect on what Covid19 is imposing for the routine and method of work, regarding remote collaboration, creation and education. Gabriel Pinto will participate in this panel, author and researcher in Creativity, Future of work and Innovation, and Luiz Velho, director of Visgraf Lab IMPA. Each participant will have ten minutes of presentation, followed by 20 minutes of chat with questions asked by the audience.

VFXRio Live: Science, Art and Resistance
The panel will address Virtual Reality, Interactive Scenarios, Culture and Dance. Among the guests, Gilles Jobin, dancer, choreographer and director, who unites dance and virtual reality in their worldwide award-winning performances, Bruna Berford, animation supervisor at Penrose Studios, and director, choreographer and dancer Andrea Jabor.
