Lucifer Season 4 Visual Effects by CoSA VFX
June 26, 2020 – Earlier this week, it was announced that Netflix will be begin streaming new episodes of Lucifer on Friday, August 21. This highly-anticipated fifth season offered CoSA VFX many opportunities to create visual effects for the devilish character (played by Tom Ellis) and his world.
The series was supposed to end with Season 5, but fan enthusiasm and a great creative direction has caused Netflix to reconsider, with a SIXTH season coming to the streaming service in the future.
CoSA has had a blast working on Lucifer, and below, you can see some of our best work from Season 4 which dropped last year. If you’re behind on the show, beware of spoilers, but if you’re one of the legion of “Lucifans,” here’s a peek behind the curtain, where you can see many of the ways we bring the Devil to the screen, with concept art, CG, tracking, face replacements, and more.
