The VFX Festival Emerging Talent 2019
One of the biggest events in the calendar, every year Escape Studios hosts The VFX, Games and Animation Festival. Now in its 7th year, it’s known as a celebration of the creative industries and a showcase of talent.
In response to industry needs, the 7th year of our annual festival brings an exciting new format, to deliver the most relevant content. The VFX Festival 2019 will consist of events taking place in February and June 2019 and all are targeted at different audiences. The VFX Festival 2019 will include a number of talks, keynote sessions, workshops, exhibition spaces and panel discussions from talent across the industry, as well as lots of networking opportunities.
The VFX, Games and Animation Festival also focuses on the wealth of changes taking place in the creative industries and how these elements are diversifying and changing to adapt to the future. The festival will explore new trends and changes in technologies such as VR, AR and motion capture.

What’s on display?
Like last year, our 2019 schedule is packed with a series of industry talks and showcases from across the VFX, Animation, Games and Motion Graphics sectors. VFX is a constantly changing landscape. Last year’s “big thing” is this year’s old news. So come along, and find out about the latest trends in our industry.
Recruiters
For many Escapees and recent graduates, the most important part of the Festival is probably the recruiters, who come from all the big animation and VFX houses hunting for talent.
If you’d like to meet in person the people who could help you get a job (and why wouldn’t you?) – this is the place to be.
MPC Film at The VFX Festival 2019

A festival for students currently studying within higher education and young professionals whom are looking to kick start a career in the creative industries.The festival will be filled with inspiring talks, panel discussions and an exhibition zone and will be hosted on 6-7 February 2019 at Southbank Centre London – the world-famous arts venue located on the South Bank of the Thames.
