Animated Women UK Connect & AGM 2020 (4th August 2020)

Animated Women UK – Would you like to expand your network, but think it’s even harder to meet people outside of your existing circles due to lockdown?

If so, then make sure you sign up to our first AWUK Connect!

AWUK Connect is a FREE networking event that will take place on Zoom at 7pm on Tuesday 4th August.

The evening will begin with our members-only AGM from 7pm, before starting AWUK Connect at 7.15pm.

AWUK Connect is open to all and is designed to help you meet new people even when you’re working remotely.

We’ll randomly allocate you into a zoom ‘room’ with a small group and get you talking.

To remove any initial awkwardness we’re going to use ‘show and tell’ as an icebreaker.

The idea is that every person presents two items to the rest of their group sharing some information about themselves as they go.

The items should be:

something that represents your career
something that represents your life, passions or hobbies outside of work
After every one has presented, there will be a little time to ask further questions about any of the items discussed and get to know each other.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get chatting to new people and grow your network.

To get involved, just make sure you have Zoom downloaded onto your computer with access to a camera and microphone.
