“Angel Has Fallen” was one of the exciting projects we had the opportunity to work on in the past year. From set extensions to various FX work – we did it all for the third of Gerard Butler’s Has Fallen series and we’re very happy to share with you a small portion of the project.

“Angel Has Fallen” is directed by Ric Roman Waugh and is starring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Jada Pinkett Smith and Nick Nolte.

Angel Has Fallen is a 2019 American action thriller film directed by Ric Roman Waugh. It is the third installment in the Fallen film series, following Olympus Has Fallen (2013) and London Has Fallen (2016). The film was released in the United States on August 23, 2019, by Lionsgate. It received mixed reviews from critics and grossed $133 million worldwide. Plans for future sequels and TV spin-offs are in development.

The lake sequence in the action thriller Angel Has Fallen is pivotal for the movie’s script and atmosphere. Creating the required visual effects while keeping the authenticity of the scene is where our team jumped in.

And our job would’ve been a lot harder if it wasn’t for the Nu Boyana Film Studios Underwater Stage – the largest underwater filming facility in Europe.
