Locke & Key is an upcoming American supernatural horror drama web television series based on the comic book series of the same name by Joe Hill that is set to premiere on Netflix on February 7, 2020.

Outpost VFX, Our team in Montréal recently had the pleasure of working with Netflix on season one of Locke & Key, which launched on Netflix on 7 February.

The show is an adaptation of the hugely popular comic book series from Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, which debuted back in 2008. The series follows three siblings who return to their ancestral home to find it littered with ancient and magical keys that give them access to mystical abilities.

Solely delivered from our Montréal studio, our work on Locke & Key included tricky comp sequences and seamless DMP work produced by our expert environment team.

Produced by Becca Scott and creatively overseen by VFX Supervisor Filip Sustek, Locke & Key is the second show we’ve delivered from our Montréal studio following See for AppleTV+.
