Universal Animation Writers Program Now Open (Until 17th January 2020)

If you’re a writer with an interest in film and television animation, the application deadline for the Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG) animation writing program has been extended to January 17, 2020! The program develops writers in feature and television animation through writing assignments as well as internal and external workshops.

Under the umbrella of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG), the program will develop writers in feature and television animation through writing assignments as well as internal and external workshops designed to strengthen writing, increase awareness of the animation production process and establish a network of champions to drive career momentum.

Writers selected to participate in the one-year paid program are hired under a writing service agreement requiring an exclusive, full-time commitment of a minimum of 40 hours per week.

The one-year Program launches in June of the following year

Universal Studios Lot in, Universal City, CA. You must reside in Los Angeles to participate in the program.
