Real-Time Shorts Challenge Now Open
We’re launching the Real-Time Shorts Challenge! FREE to enter. Open to anyone who knows UE4. After you register you’ll be able to download one of two incredible UE4 scenes to make your own UE4 Short Movie.
Judges include Epic Games CTO Kim Libreri, virtual production DP guru Matt Workman and Nigel Tierney, Head of Content at RYOT/Verizon Media. REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
It’s a challenge rather than a competition because in we believe in collaboration over competition. Real-Time movies are an emerging art form so the goal here is to cultivate collaboration, exploration and experimentation. That said, we have a panel of esteemed judges and will be handing out awards and prizes.
The Real-Time Shorts Challenge is free to enter. It’s open to individuals and teams but we encourage collaboration especially between people working remotely who may not have worked together before. If there are filmmakers, 3D artists, performers and game dev’s whose work you like, please use this as an opportunity to reach out and band together.
Once we have received your signed Project Agreement I will set the date which you can download the scene file that you have selected. Participants will then have 30 days to complete the challenge.
