Access VFX Launches West Coast Chapter

July 17, 2020 – We are excited to announce the launch of ACCESS: VFX ‘West Coast’, our brand new chapter who will continue our work on building a more inclusive and diverse VFX, Animation and Games Industry!

Led by co-chairs Kathleen Ruffalo, Recruitment Manager, USA at Framestore, and Ann Hoang, Head of People & Culture, LA at The Mill, the West Coast chapter’s first steps will be to promote initiatives such as our global e-mentoring platform, entry level opportunities, action-focused events and partnerships with local schools and organisations within the LA community.

With other founding members including FuseFX, Ghost VFX, Luma Pictures, PIXOMONDO, Digital Domain and Zoic Studios, the chapter hopes to extend its outreach to not only students within LA and surrounding communities, but those already working in the industry that have been furloughed or laid off due to the current pandemic.
